How to Receive Payment From Customers Through Cheque in Muhasib ERP
Websol Muhasib ERP allows you to receive payment from customers from different methods. This was a great and advanced feature provided by Websol Technologies in the software. This feature helps the company to receive payments from customers through cheques. This feature also helps business owners to manage their payment types that give better customer care service to the company.
Customer Cheque Entry
To receive payments from customers through cheque, follow the steps given below.
Step 1. Log in to the system and access the Main Back Office user interface.
Step 2. On the appeared window, click "Sales and Customers".
step 3. On the appearing "Sales Management" window, the "Transactions" section is shown on your screen.
Step 4. On the "Transaction" section, click on "Customer Cheque Entry"
Step 5. The "Cheque Entry" window appears on the screen.
Step 6. In the "Cheque Entry" window, Enter the details in the following
- From the "Sale Type" dropdown, select the sale type
- In the invoice no(s) field, select the invoice from this field.
- The "Balance" and "Customer Name" field shows the customer name and balance.
- In the "Bank Name" field, enter the bank name.
- In the "Branch Name" field, enter the branch name of the bank.
- In the "Bank Acc No." field, enter the account number.
- In the "Cheque No." field, enter the cheque number.
- From the "Cheque Type" dropdown, select the check type.
- From the "Deposit Date" field, set the date of deposit.
- In the "Amount" field, enter the amount.
- From the "Status" dropdown, select the status of the cheque.
- From the "Payment Type" dropdown, select payment type.
- From the "Payment Account" dropdown, select the status of the cheque.
Step 7. On the left, click on the "Save" button (a message box appears "Record has been Updated successfully").
Step 8. Close the window
