Configure POS Settings in Websol Muhasib ERP

Websol Muhasib ERP allows you to configure your POS settings in which you have the right to configure default customer, service charges, payment terms, etc. This POS setting will help business owners to maintain their POS settings. This was a great and handy tool that provided by Websol in their software to configure your POS screen settings.

POS settings

To configure the POS settings follow the given steps.

Step 1. Log in to the system and access the Main Back Office user interface.

Step 2. Find the User Profile Button on the left-middle grey strip, and click on the user profile button.

Step 3. User profile windows appear on the screen, click on the "Global Configurations" button.

Step 4. On the appearing "Global Configurations" window, the "POs Settings" section is shown on your screen.

Step 5. On the "POS Settings" section, set the details in the following

• Set the "Default POS Customer" field 
  • Here are the steps to set the "Default POS Customer" field.
  • In the "Default POS Customer" line, click on the customer Symbol Button.
  • The "Select Customer" window appears on the screen, if the customer is in the table select the customer from the "Customer Records" panel.
  • If the customer is not created then you have to create a new customer.
  • At the top-right, click on "Create new Customer".
  • At the bottom-right, click on "Select Customer" after selecting customer.
• In the "Default Delivery Charges" field, Enter the Default Delivery charges.
• From the "Default Sale Payment Terms" dropdown, Select default sale payment terms
• From the "Calculate Tax" dropdown, select the Tax
• From the "Default Sale Type" dropdown, Select default sale type.
• From the "Default Inventory Calculation Method" dropdown, Select inventory calculation method.
• Enter data in the "Change Price By" field.
• Select anyone from (avg cost price / Item batch price) in the "Cost of goods Sold Calculation Method" field.
• Tick on the "Modify TempSale Within Selected No. of Days" field, and give the number.
• Enable / Disable all the other fields of your choice.

Step 6. On the left of the window, click on Update Button (a message box appears "System Configuration has been Updated successfully").

Step 7. Close the window.
